Growing into the likeness of Jesus by obeying God at His word for the right reasons.

As followers of Jesus, we gather consistently as an expression of God’s Church to make known that Jesus is the Christ. Our Sunday worship services are times of equipping and encouragement to be disciple-makers and witnesses for Jesus Christ in our every day lives and to our spheres of influence.

We believe the Gospel also known as the Good News

The Gospel, in a broad sense, is everything Christ is, taught, did, and accomplished - both historically and theologically. The Gospel of Jesus provides the sole means of justification for anyone who, by faith, repents and trusts Jesus as Lord.

We believe that God is building His church…

… of people that have been redeemed by grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. These are those who have received the message of grace through faith. And those who have been redeemed will be baptized, signifying their identification with Jesus and His believing community, the Church.
(Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 10:44-48, Romans 6:1-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13)

We believe that once a disciple…

… has been identified with Jesus and His Church through faith in action, they mature over time and become useful members of the local body (church).
(Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 10:44-48, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

We believe a Christian’s ultimate authority…

… is the very words of God, communicated to us through the inerrant (as it was originally written) Word of God - also known as the Bible. And though the churches are to be guarded and protected by elders gifted as pastors and teachers, all are subject to the authority of the biblical text.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
